In November 2009, NSS can thank you for your donations and confirm that the tour is still on the road now and for at least until early next year.

However as explained in this month’s article in the Nochlezhka Gazette, the economic situation is not more positive for years to come. Nochlezhka Swiss Solidarity will therefore continue its activities: economic support and food distribution.

With your support, we will do everything to permit that next year. Each month approximately nine thousand hot meals will be distributed to the poorest undocumented people of St. Petersburg.

Be aware that the loss of night buses would be tragic. It will imply the ending of the only feeding meal of the day, forgotten the proximity with the homeless, reacting immediately to the emergencies.

We must not allow the abandonment of these people who are already left alone and completely ignored by the current authorities. Do not forget, they are undocumented in their own country. And the only help they receive is from Nochlezhka.

YOUR HELP AND YOUR ENGAGEMENT ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THE BUS

Unfortunately, the homeless and the undocumented migrants are constantly increasing. During this year, 29% of men, women and children have lost their homes and therefore their legal document (propiska). You can read in Nochlezhka Gazette article "undocumented migrants, the first victims" and the thesis on “Naj Kastanje propiska”. You must understand how the shadows of the street need our support.
